Anyway, I was just reading a thread about the flops of 2010 so far, and in the comments that followed, British pop star Taio Cruz and his album Rokstarr were mentioned. Here is a quote that pretty much sums up the state of the music industry by CxMxPUNK:

it couldn't be more true: despite two massive hit singles, including #1 hit "Break Your Heart", he has only sold 48,000 copies since his album was released in June.
Oh no! Lady Gaga trips in London's Heathrow Airport
Pop star Lady Gaga has always put practicality behind her wacky fashion sense.
Now it seems like her health is taking a backseat too.
Gaga fell down as she walked through London's Heathrow Airport, likely because of her extremely high black platform shoes she was wearing. It was all apart of an elaborate leather cowboy/biker hybrid outfit, complete with bandana and chaps. Although she tried to keep her balance, she ended falling to her knees before being helped up by people in her entourage.
I like Gaga a lot but this was just hilarious.
I wonder what it would take for her to wear a pair of sneakers....

But alas, the late King of Pop was not the one who had one fan choked up after meeting him at a Best Buy record signing in Union Square, NYC.
It was Drake.
Yes, the rapper Drake.
Don't get me wrong, Drake is great and everything (I gave Thank Me Later a pretty great review), but was it really that serious? I understand fan love, and if it were MJ, or Janet, or Mariah, I would be probably laid out on the floor needing oxygen, but it's Drake. Can we let him have a few more years and #1 albums (Thank Me Later is expected to sell 470,000 copies, by the way) before grown men begin losing their shit, please?

Pop diva Whitney Houston was on the results show of Britain's X Factor tonight, and delivered a whopper of a performance, in more ways than one.
Her first UK performance in over a decade, Whitney sang the Freemasons remix of her current single "Million Dollar Bill" with a group of backup dancers. She was very energetic, diva-like, and a bit all over the place, up until she busted the strap of her dress. She played around with the wardrobe malfunction and continued with the performance, which was one of the best since her comeback.
What many will surely be talking about is her interview afterwards with host Dermot O'Leary. Talking to him, she seemed a bit off slightly belligerent. She was clear enough to promote her upcoming UK tour (although she struggled remembering her album release date, which is tomorrow across the pond).
We can pass off the slightly zany antics of Whitney's showing a X Factor staple. Last week, Robbie Williams delivered an wide-eyed, awkward dance-filled performance of his new single "Bodies" (which was beaten by current X Factor champ Alexandra Burke).
The exposure, good or bad, from the performance definitely did its job. Whitney's album is #1 on UK iTunes, and "Million Dollar Bill" is in the Top 10.
So, on Thursday, Miley Cyrus premiered the video for her new single "The Climb", and I gotta tell you, I had the same reaction that I had to Westlife's "Something Right" video: "wow, this is a really cheap looking video!".
Seriously, everything about it is CGI-ed to hell. That being said, Miley looks very good when she has her hair up. She should remember that look.
Speaking of remembering things, Miley seemed to suffer lyrical amnesia on UK variety show Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, where she performed "Fly On The Wall". A minute in, she forgot the lyrics and actually stood there for seconds until she could remember.
As a fan of Nick and Sharon, you guys have no clue how HILARIOUS capturing this face was yesterday. On Young and the Restless, Nick told his wife Phyllis that he slept with Sharon in the cabin, AND he loved both of them.
