If only he had blue skin, he would be a perfect extra for the Avatar sequel.
The American Idol rocker threw a huge forest party in the middle of the night in the music video for "If I Had You", the second single from For Your Entertainment. There was plenty of color, dancing, and wacky fashion to make for a cool summer video.

Adam Lambert Mentors American Idol's Top 8 Next Week: Why?
Um, why? That is my response to the news that last year's hyper-controversial runner-up Adam Lambert will serve as a mentor to the contestants next week. He is also expected to perform his latest single "Whataya Want From Me" on the results show, alongside Rihanna.
I'm sorry, but why? Seriously.
I think it's pretty neat having a past contestant mentor the current ones, since they've been through it all. But, was the show's winner, Kris Allen, busy or something? What about the first winner, Kelly Clarkson, who actually has some substantial (actually massive) hits under her belt? There's AI friendly winner Carrie Underwood, who will be performing again at Idol Gives back, their annual charity show. Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson? Daughtry? I mean Adam has been through the Idol grind, and he's probably the most scrutinized ex-contestant in the show's history, but his career is just taking off (barely), so what he is really going to offer? plus, when it comes down to it, he didn't win (and before people attack for listing Hudson and Daughtry, they have massive success to counteract their early eliminations).
We'll see how he does, he may even do well, but right now it seems like another stupid decision this season.

Download of the Day (11/29): Whataya Want From Me by Adam Lambert
Highly influential New York radio station Z100 has been spinning Adam Lambert's second single "Whataya Want From Me" for a week or two now. They completely bypassed his lead single, the title track of his just-released album For Your Entertainment, helping its status as an utter flop. Yet, it's easy to see why they jumped ahead."Whataya Want From Me" is everything that "For Your Entertainment" isn't; humble, warm, and hooky. Written by Swedish pop god Max Martin and pop's chief badass Pink, the song is about appreciating a person's love and support, while wanting their space (essentially, a "Because You Loved Me" for the mid-tempo millennium). It has a similar sound to Pink's spectacular hit "Sober", but it definitely has its own identity, thanks to Lambert's great vocals. He sounds sincere and soft, leaving the trademark histrionics at the door. After weeks of wailing on American Idol and the screeching that accompanied the debut single, this is a refreshing change for the runner-up.
As I much liked "For Your Entertainment", it wasn't enough to push me to listen to the abum. This track would certainly make me change my mind.
RATING: 7.5 OUT OF 10

Adam Lambert Delivers The "Entertainment" With Debut Single
Luckily, the cover and the single inspired opposite reactions.
Fans of the flamboyant singer will not be disappointed at all; Adam is in top form with this track. "For Your Entertainment" is a high-glam electro stunner, which isn't unexpected from Adam considering his highly successful run on TV's biggest show. If the sonically sound production doesn't kick it off for you, there is always Adam's voice. Thankfully, he saves the histrionic vocal runs for the middle-eight, which elevates the song's drama. His delivery of the verses and the undeniable chorus is menacing, dangerous, and even a bit sexy.
Adam Lambert will surely divide many mainstream listeners with his gender-bending style, but there is no denying he is a pop star in the making, determined to entertain us.
With this song, he seems to be on the right track.
