One Direction's New Music Video Where Zayn Has Two Different Hairstyles

So One Direction just released the music video for their new single "Kiss You". It's very campy, a bit obnoxious, and full of all that 1D charm that has made them overnight teen idols.

But I just found one thing (see what I did there?) to be a bit distracting. As you watch the video (especially the road bit and the jailhouse bit), note the fact that Zayn Malik has two different hairstyles in the video. There is the gold streak that kind of makes him look like a Keebler elf, and then there is no gold streak.

Was that an editing fail, or they just didn't care to re-film the sequences without the gold streak?
