Willow Smith has skyrocketed to the top of the BWU Singles Chart.
The nine-year old daughter of superstars Will and Jada Pinkett Smith jumped 21 spots to #1 with her debut single "Whip My Hair", thanks to the release of her acclaimed music video. The song originally met a peak of #13 before hopping up down the lower reaches of the chart. She is undoubtedly the younger artist to hit #1, and "Whip My Hair" has the record for longest chart run before hitting #1, which is five weeks. Last week's #1, Duffy's "Well, Well, Well", falls down to #6.
Rihanna just missed a second #1 debut with her new single with Drake, "What's My Name", settling for #2. Her best friend Katy Perry falls a behind her with new single "Firework, while Rihanna's other single "Only Girl (In The World)" sits beneath that at #4. Kylie Minogue's "Get Outta My Way" holds on for a 15th week in the Top 5 at #5. After hitting #1 on the US charts, Far East Movement move up to #8 with "Like a G6".
The only other debut of the week is the Black Eyed Peas' new single "The Time (Dirty Bit) at #19.
