Duffy's new single "Well, Well, Well" dethrones Kylie to debut atop of the BWU Singles Chart, the fourth song in chart history to do so. Kylie's "Get Outta My Way", which spent six non-consecutive weeks at #1, slips down to #3. Duffy kept Katy Perry from a #1 debut with her new single "Firework", settling for #2 instead. It is her highest chart debut so far; "Teenage Dream" (#24 this week) entered the chart at #4 before climbing to #1 in its second week. Rihanna's "Only Girl (In The World)" rebounds to #4, while Enrique Iglesias's "Heartbeat" slips to #5.
A bit early for the holiday season, Mariah Carey skyrockets from #26 to #7 with "Oh Santa!', the first single from her holiday album Merry Christmas II You. Florence + The Machine just barely miss a Top 10 re-entry, stalling at #11. Kanye West moves up to #10 with "Runaway", his second Top 10 single. Neon Trees debut at #9 with their hit "Animal".
