BWU Singles Chart Roundup 9/06: Kylie's #1 for 5th Week, Trey Songz Follows Behind

Kylie has proven her role as queen of the BWU Singles Chart, with a fifth week on top with "Get Outta My Way".

The release of the music video this week bouyed the performance of Kylie's second single from Aphrodite, and with five weeks logged (four of them consecutive), "Get Outta My Way" is the longest running #1 single in chart history. Combined with "All The Lovers", Kylie has 9 weeks at #1, more than any other artist.

Kylie's domination prevented another song from reaching chart-topping glory. Trey Songz's "Bottoms Up", featuring Nicki Minaj, enters at #2. Coming in at #3 is another debut, M.I.A.'s "XXXO". Cee Lo Green's new single debuts at #12, while Nicki Minaj's second single "Check It Out" enters at #30. Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow's duet "Shame" barely misses the top 15, coming in at #16.

Continuing it's rebound is Bruno Mars' "Just The Way Are", up to #9 from #18 last week. Also inching up is Kanye West's "Power" to #11 and Daughtry's "September" to #15.

In certification news, three songs have received gold awards: Kylie's "Get Outta My Way" (#1), Eminem and Rihanna's "Love The Way You Lie" (#19), and Katy Perry's "California Gurls" (#29).
