Chances are, you either saw a little robot clean up Earth or Angelina Jolie kick some ass. Chances are, many of you saw the robot.
Wall-E, the latest Pixar film, topped this weekend's box office, grossing an estimated $62 million at 3,992 theaters. Wanted, the assassin film starring Jolie, brought in $51 million at 3,175 theaters. Wanted did beat Wall-E in terms of theater averages by a margin of $500 per theater.
At #3 is Get Smart starring Anne Hathaway and Steve Carrell, which brought in $20 million to bring its total gross to $77 million.
