Not since t.A.T.u set MTV on fire with faux-lesbian making out in the rain has girl-on-girl action been a musical topic.
Katy Perry's first single off her upcoming album is about, well, kissing a girl. She sings about experimenting with a girl, and hoping her boyfriend won't mind her dipping into the other side of the pool. The song's quirky lyrics fit almost perfectly with the electronica-rock sound backing the track. The guitar and the synth beats mixed with one of 2008's future catchphrases makes for a fun little ode to lesbianism.
