Billboard 200: Neil Diamond's Sparkling Debut

Who said Neil Diamond wasn't relevant?

His new album "Home Before Dark" scored a fantastic #1 with 146,000 copies sold in its first week. It is the first time he has ever hit #1 on the album charts, and his biggest-selling opening week since Soundscan starting measuring record sales in 1991. At #2 is Toby Keith's greatest hits record, which sold 103,000 copies.

Madonna, who topped the chart last week, falls to #3 with 94,000 copies sold in its second week. Clay Aiken's "On My Way Here" debuts at #4 with 93,000 copies sold.
