Well tonight, everyone brought their game, so there won't be a "Worst" section. Here is a person-by-person recap:
Syesha - Holy crap! Where did that Mariah Carey not come from? It was smart to pull that out of her bag of tricks, but when it came out, it sounded awkward with the arrangement. I wish she would stop going after these major star songs. First Whitney, now Fantasia? Seems rather calculating.
David Archuleta - It was a great performance. I definitely liked the ending. I figured this would be his week, and it was.
Kristy Lee Cook - I'll admit it. It was definitely her best performance to date. I still want her to go home though; she is just sub-par compared to the others
David Cook - I didn't like it at all. It was boring, and uninspiring, something that is shocking coming from him
Jason Castro - I thought it was one of his best performances to date. I am finally starting to get this guy. The laid-back folk vibe really does fit him.
Carly Smithson - She REALLY oversang this song. There were times of screaming a bit and I really didn't like it. I think she's in danger of being the bottom 3.
Michael Johns - I disagree with Randy on this one. I definitely buy the whole rocker thing with Michael. It was another great performance. I think he is smart for trying the whole Michael Hutchence vibe on.
Brooke White - I feel like Brooke is coasting. I don't understand why she is delivering these boring performances after Let It Be and Love Is A Battlefield. She is still my fav female contestant, but she really is losing steam.
