Don't hold it against her, but Britney Spears is #1 again!The princess of pop spends a second week atop of the BWU Singles Chart with her comeback single "Hold It Against Me". Britney held off competition from Jennifer Lope and her comeback single "On The Floor", which settles for second place. Wynter Gordon and her Aussie smash "Dirty Talk" slides up a spot to #3, which pushes Usher down to #4 for the week with "More".
Asian hip pop group Far East Movement enter the Top 5 with "Rocketeer", outpeaking last year's "Like a G6", which peaked at #8. Rihanna lands her fourth straight top 10 single with "S&M", skyrocketing from #24 to #7. She is the only artist to have three singles in the top 10 simultaneously, and the only artist to have four in the top 15 ("Who's That Chick" is at #15).
In certification news, two songs reach Gold status this week. Alexandra Burke's "The Silence" is certified Gold after only ten weeks, while Katy Perry's "Firework" is certified Gold after thirteen weeks on the chart. Katy Perry is the first and only artist to have three Gold singles, the others being "California Gurls" and "Teenage Dream". "Firework" is one of only two Gold singles that have peaked at #2, the other being "Alejandro".
