Chris Brown has been clawing his way back to pop superstardom after assaulting Rihanna last year, with considerable success. Yet, with his new song, he might finally be able to put himself on top again.

Following the sleeper success of "Deuces", the R&B singer is prepping a new album due for release next year titled F.A.M.E. The first single from the album is "Yeah 3x". It is a rave-styled dance track, along the lines of his smash hit "Forever". This song is a lot more instant, with powerful synths pounding in the ears seconds into the song. Frankly, it's an irresistible and fun song that is a return to form for the singer. Another thing worth appreciating is that it is unabashedly pop, unlike some of the similar songs that have been flooding the charts as of late (hello, Taio Cruz). It's like he knows he's lost his mainstream fanbase, and he is willing to fight for them.

With this song, it's a battle he's probably going to win.
