Lady Gaga, one of pop music's most mysterious and intriguing artists, gave a startlingly honest interview to Barbara Walters on last night's 10 Most Fascinating People special.
The singer, dressed in a Chanel suit and short, curly hair, spoke about many things, including her sexuality, her relationship with her father, and her past. Gaga revealed more about her reported sexuality, even getting embarrassed when Walters asked if she has had sexual relationships with women (she says she has). She talked about how her father believed she was insane when she began performing.
Finally, the pop star told Walters that the biggest misconception about her is that she is an attention-seeking fraud. Speaking further, she said that as a child, she felt like a freak and that she wants to "free" her fans from the same feelings.
I thought the interview was great, and really helped in humanizing a woman so out of this world to some people. It also reinforced the fact that Gaga is a genuinely sweet woman.
