"My daddy was the best father you could ever imagine": Daughter Paris' Heartbreaking Tribute To Michael Jackson

Children at their public figure parent's funerals are always hard to watch.

In 1963, the world watched as John F Kennedy Jr. saluted his father's coffin.

In 1997, with heads bowed, Princes William and Harry walked behind their mother's coffin in the streets of London.

Today, July 7th 2009, Paris Jackson, the only daughter of pop icon Michael Jackson, shared her grief with the world.

And there wasn't a dry eye anywhere.

The 11-year old, who has never spoken in public before today's massive memorial service at L.A.'s Staples Center, said only a few words before collapsing in tears in Janet Jackson's arms, but they were arguably the most poignant of the entire service.

"Ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine," Paris said before cringing in pain. After a few moments, with her aunts and brothers giving her support, she continued: "I just want to say I love him so much."

Paris was born to Jackson and second wife Debbie Rowe in 1998 . She has an older brother, Prince, and a younger brother, Blanket, who sang with the group rendition of "We Are The World".

It is expected that one billion people watched the King of Pop's memorial service on television and the Internet.
