Sure, she scored her biggest hit with the mellowed "Breathe Slow", but everyone knows that Alesha Dixon's home is on the dancefloor.
That's why her third single "Let's Get Excited" is a full-on hyper dance track. It's not as inventive as "The Boy Does Nothing"; the song consists of a tinny background, hand claps, and some rightfully sassy lyrics. Still, what it lacks of creativity, it makes up for in its ability to get a crowd moving. Even a person without a rhythmic bone in their body will be shaking something to this track. Alesha may not have the best voice in the world, but the personality she exhibits is boundless and infectious. You can hear how much fun she is having, and with that, you'll find that you're in the same boat. At the end of the day, that's what it's all about.
