After two flop singles, Mariah tries again with the great "I Stay In Love". She premiered the video for the song on BET's Access Granted last night.
In the video, she plays a showgirl who falls for this guy, but gets her heart broken when he starts hanging with another showgirl. At least that's what I got from it.
I'm just gonna blame director/husband/pet Nick Cannon for this video's storyline. Mariah looks gorgeous as usual, and the B&W effect is cool, but the concept doesn't match the video at all.
I hope this doesn't keep this song from being a success, but if it does, I think Mimi should get back in the studio STAT!
