Rihanna's single "Disturbia" suffers a major drop after weeks of steady climb. The song fell from #3 to #10, 7 places in the lowest drop inside the Top 10. However, with the video's release, the song should bounce back, if not challenge Leona's chart dominance. Despite it's drop, the song still became the first song (alongside "I Kissed a Girl" by Katy Perry) to get 200 chart points. It's on its way to triple platinum status. Her song with Maroon 5 "If I Never See Your Face Again" plummets from its peak position of #9 to #28, the biggest chart drop in the history of the chart. Her only song to gain is "Take a Bow", which rose one spot to #4. With the platinum certification of "If I Never", Rihanna is the first and only artist to have 3 platinum songs. As an artist, Rihanna is quintuple platinum, with over 400 chart points.
September's "Cry For You" leaps from #20 to #2 this week, helped by a #1 placing on the Song Play chart. "Shut Up and Let Me Go" by the Ting Tings also makes a big leap from #32 to #13. "Spotlight" by Jennifer Hudson is this week's Rebound, after it climbed up 24 spots to #12. Its her highest chart position in 6 weeks.
