This week's BWU Hot 25 sees many debuts and re-entries, as 6 songs break into the chart, including 2 songs into the top 5!
Katy Perry holds the #1 spot with "I Kissed A Girl", which is posed to hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, for a second week. She also sees the highest debut of the week with "Hot N Cold", which saw a #2 placing on the Interest chart and a #3 placing on Song Play. Since its creation, she is the first artist to have two songs in the Top 5 of the chart.
The Pussycat Dolls also break a record this week for having the highest jump up the chart. "When I Grow Up", which debuted at #24 last week because of high interest, climbs 22 places to the #2 spot, thanks to topping the Song Play chart.
The next highest debut belongs to the Jonas Brothers, who come in at #4 with "Burnin' Up". The song shot up the Interest chart because of its premiere last weekend and it being the first selection for the Brandon Lewis Seal of Approval, which shows support for songs I normally wouldn't like. It also debuts at #4 on the Song Play chart.
This week's Rebound belongs to Chris Brown, who suffered the chart's biggest drop last week with "Forever". The single fell 13 places to the bottom of the chart last week, but moves up 4 places to #21. His other single "Take You Down", moves up to #13.
