Me To Constantine Maroulis: You're An Ass!

It is one thing to attack someone your own age, who can defend themselves and (rightfully so) kick your ass.

It is a whole 'nother ball game when you make fun of a 17-year old!

Constantine Maroulis, during an interview with some other jackasses, insulted David Archuleta the night of the Idol finale. Maroulis, who was a contestant in the 4th season, called Archuleta a punk who needed to win in order to be successful. He also rudely suggested David A was gay, claiming "he doesn't like any of those girls who are looking at him" and that he had "gaydar". The other jackasses said Archuleta's future would end up being on a Carnival Cruise ship performing sing-alongs, to which Maroulis added "a same-sex one".

Constantine also snuck in a little barb at Season 6 contestant Sanjaya, calling him the gayest contestant out of any of the finalists.

Seriously, WTF!

It is disgusting that Constantine would openly attack a freakin' teenager who he has probably never met, yet appears to be one of the humblest contestants to ever appear on the show! Not everyone may like him, but Constantine viciously hit below the belt. Also, his gay remarks are all the more insulting considering how he claims to be so tolerant. Exactly, how would his gay best friends feel about him viciously attack a kid's sexuality like that?

Constantine is probably frustrated that David A has a promising future ahead of him while he's stuck doing cheap crap like American Idol Extra. By the way, he shouldn't be proud of doing Bold and the Beautiful. His stint on the show was universally panned and was one of the worst periods in the show's 20-year history!

Constantine was never known for his tact (he was declared one of the most annoying contestants ever), but you would think, 3 years after doing the show, he would gain some kind of grace and class, especially when discussing an overall nice guy. It's utterly pathetic to see a grown-ass man behave like an asshole.

Constantine definitely lost a fan.
