Worldwide, Kylie Minogue is a megastar. The pop diva has legions of fans across the globe, especially in Europe and her native Australia. However, she hasn't been met with the same success here in the US. Except for her album Fever with the global phenom "Can't Get You Out of My Head", she hasn't resonated well here.
Hopefully, with her new album, that will change.
She has just released her new album X this Tuesday, with the lead single "All I See". Many people know Kylie for her dance-pop music, so this is an interesting departure for her. "All I See" has a very sexy groove to it, a mid-tempo song you can dance to. The R&B vibe should definitely solve the career-long issue Kylie has had with the US, finding the genre she would fit into. It's a very fun song that I could definitely hear on the radio.
Overall, its a great pop song. Its no "Can't Get You Out of My Head", but it just proves that Kylie, entering her second decade of performing, still has it.
