BWU Singles Chart Roundup (2/15): Lady Gaga Storms to #1

Lady Gaga has captivated the world with her new single "Born This Way", and now she has taken over the BWU Singles Chart.

Gaga, who performed her controversial but popular single at last weekend's Grammy Awards, enters the chart at #1. "Born This Way" is the seventh single to debut at #1, the last being Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson's "Don't You Wanna Stay" last month. Gaga's last single, "Alejandro", peaked at #2 last year on the chart. Last week's #1, Rihanna's "S&M" tumbles down to #4, with Jessie J remaining at #2 with "Price Tag" and Chris Brown debuting with "Look At Me Now" at #3.

Jennifer Hudson and her new single "Where You At" leap from last week's debut of #15 up to #5. Making a smaller leap into the Top 10 is Lil' Wayne, who moves up from #14 to #10 this week. The upward movement and debuts pushed Britney, J-Lo, Far East Movement, and Wynter Gordon out of the Top 10. Helped by a feature on Glee, Katy Perry's "Firework" moves up to #21, logging a sixteenth week on the chart.

Joe McElderry is certified Gold this week with "Someone Wake Me Up", becoming the third male artist (after Eminem and Bruno Mars) to do so.
