So, remember how I was gushing about the iPad I got for Christmas/my birthday in January?
Yeah, about that...
Apple, the makers of all tech things cool and trendy, has sent out applications for its next media event on March 2nd in San Fransisco. The image sent with the invites was an iCal icon with an iPad peaking out from the right corner, an obvious nod to the upcoming, highly-anticipated iPad 2.
Rumors suggested that the iPad 2 would be released in the first half of this year, to match the release of the first iPad last year.
If you want to see what the anticipated features are for this iPad, Gizmodo has created a pretty cohesive list, which does include a virtually guaranteed FaceTime camera. Check it out here: A Basic Sketch of the Next iPad.
Now you're probably wondering: how mad do you think I'll be with the new iPad being announced next week. While it's always great to have the latest, greatest thing, my iPad is serving me just fine and the only real exciting feature, the FaceTime camera, is something I already have with my new iPhone 4. So, I'm pretty good about this new one (although let's face it; if it is as freaking amazing as people are suggesting, there is something called eBay...)
