One week on Dancing With The Stars and her career is already back on track!R&B songstress Toni Braxton is returning to the recording studio after signing with Atlantic Records, according to AOL Black Voices. She is currently selecting tracks for the album which will be released early next year.
For those who don't know, Toni has had a tumultuous recording career. The singer had multiplatinum success with her albums Toni Braxton and Secrets in the early to mid 90s, but her career froze when she filed for bankruptcy in 1998. She was forced to sell many of her possessions including the Grammys she won (five at the time). She bounced back two years later with The Heat, which went double platinum and scored her another Grammy. The success wouldn't continue, after a failed album with label Arista and another at Blackground Records. In the last few years before DWTS, she performed at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas in her own headlining show called Toni Braxton: Revealed. The show was successful, but it was scrapped in April due to Toni's heart problems.
I, for one, can't wait for Toni Braxton's new music, and I wish her all the success on Dancing with the Stars.
