In the UK, the new season of the X Factor (the show that gave us Leona Lewis) has begun, and Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue, Louis Walsh, and my girl aloud Cheryl Cole are searching throughout Britain for the next superstar.
One person who really caught my eye and ear (for good reasons) is Rachel Hylton. She is a recovering drug addict with 5 kids, trying to make a fresh start. She also has a phenomenal voice. I think she definitely think she has the potential to go far in the show.
I'll be watching the X Factor closely (thanks YouTube), so for the Americans looking for the next Leona, check the blog often.
