It's War! Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue Duke It Out On X-Factor!

UK fans can expect some live catfights between Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole (in green) and Australian singer (and Kylie Minogue's sis) Dannii Minogue (in purple)

UK pop princess Cheryl Cole has just joined talent competition the X-Factor, and already there is tension between her and the judges.

The judge in particular is singer Dannii Minogue (notice how I just singer? lol). Backstage rumors suggest that Kylie Minogue's sister is none to happy with the presence of the younger, more successful star.

Sharon Osbourne, who quit over a salary dispute and allegedly bitter relations with Minogue, has gleefully supported Cheryl's role as her replacement, saying "I love her".

A production source told UK's Daily Mail: "Cheryl is younger and more beautiful than Dannii - and she has a much more successful career in music. 'She is also as mouthy as Sharon and doesn't mind making enemies. Dannii and Cheryl already have a history - expect the claws to be out - particularly over who is Simon Cowell's favourite."

Apparently, Dannii, who's had 9 UK Top Ten singles to Cheryl's 18 with Girls Aloud, has insulted her new co-judge in the past. In retaliation, Cheryl has blasted the Aussie for having too much plastic surgery.

The X-Factor is known for its public fighting between the judges, similar to American equivalent American Idol.
