The Queen of Disco is back!
Donna Summer is back with her first album in over a decade, Crayons. The first single is "Stamp Your Feet", a fun techno-sounding club thumper.
The 59-year old proves that age ain't nothin' but a number with this song. Decades after she topped the charts with songs like "Last Dance" and "Bad Girls", she still sounds fantastic, outsinging women a third her age.
As for the song, its a fun track that should be a hit in the clubs, especially when its remixed to hell. It may not be what "Believe" was to Cher, but it still shows that Donna knows her dance music. After really listening to it, only she could really do it justice.
It's really good to know that the veterans of music can still do it better than the rest. Hopefully, she'll follow Tina Turner and go on tour to support her latest effort.
